Experienced Attorneys
Opportunities for experienced attorneys to join the Bureau typically arise in the following enforcement divisions or the Bureau’s litigation group, depending on agency need: Mergers I, Mergers II, Mergers III, Mergers IV, Anticompetitive Practices I, Anticompetitive Practices II, Health Care, and Technology Enforcement. Regional offices that do competition enforcement – the Northwest Region (New York) and the Western Competition Group (Seattle, San Francisco) – also hire practicing attorneys.
Candidates must be an active bar member of any U.S. jurisdiction and have at least one-year post-J.D. legal or other relevant experience. Candidates must also be U.S. citizens to be eligible for employment.
