FTC sends refunds to people who purchased motorcycle, motocross, and ATV parts

The FTC is sending payments totaling more than $180,000 to 889 people who bought motorcycle, motocross, and ATV parts from Cycra.

According to the FTC, Cycra falsely claimed its motorcycle, motocross, and ATV parts were made in the United States. In reality, Cycra regularly imported parts from Asia and Europe for its products.

The FTC entered into a settlement with Cycra, which required the company to pay money and banned them from making unqualified U.S.-origin claims. The FTC is now using the money to provide refunds to eligible Cycra customers.
